Wholesale Terms
Boot & Co. are a Wholesale Nursery, we do not accept orders for less than 1,000pounds (1,500euros)
Currency:
Unless specifically requested, quotations & invoices will be in the following currencies:
• U.K. - In pounds sterling (gbp)
• R.O.I. - In euros
Transport Charges
Orders over 5,000pounds are delivered free to most areas of S.E. & Central England.
To other areas or to a lower value, we will detail the charge on your quotation.
Notice:
Please give about 7 days notice between placing an order & delivery.
Normally we work to the following routine during our main dispatch months of November-April.
• U.K.Mainland - Orders should be placed by Tuesday noon for loading on Friday & delivery Monday/Tuesday the following week. Other arrangements can be accommodated.
• Ireland (All)- Orders have to be placed by Friday for loading the following Thursday arriving at Dublin Port the following Monday for delivery within 48 hours.
Lorries
All our deliveries are made using large articulated lorries, with 12m trailers.
It is the customer’s responsibility to off-load the lorry in a safe manner & location.
Credit
We credit insure our invoices. If our insurers are willing to underwrite our business with you, you will receive 60 days credit terms. If not, or if your business is a one-off we would ask for cleared funds prior to loading.
V.A.T.
If we have a valid V.A.T. number for you, we will invoice you without V.A.T.
If you are not V.A.T. registered, we will invoice you with Dutch V.A.T. at the advantageous rate of 6% for plants.
Payment
UK - Payments can be made by BACS to our Lloyds TSB bank account. Or if you prefer you can post a cheque to Iain Wilson. Please contact iain@boot.nl
R.O.I. - Payment can be made by international electronic transfer to our Rabobank account in Holland. Please contact a.c.vergeer@boot.nl for further assistance.
